Home grown French digital wallet Paylib allows French consumers to easily pay for their online and mobile purchases. ~40 million users can pay using Paylib, compared to 7 million PayPal users in France. Major banks like BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole and Societé Generale support the Paylib wallet.
With a Paylib account, users will be able to pay on the web using a simple login and password instead of having to enter their card information. ~40 million users can already pay using Paylib, compared to 7 million PayPal users in France. PayLib acceptance allows for direct integration (through one of the supporting French banks) or through the help of a Payment Service Provider.
